ONE LAST EASTER PROJECT

I made one last Easter project for the ballet teachers and the assistants at my daughter's ballet school. Using the freebie from last week from SVGCUTS.com these bags are just adorable.  I was inspired by Brigit Mann's take on her bunnies here http://www.brigitsscraps.com/2013/03/free-bunny-bag.html where she cut the middle out and I think that makes these cuties extra special coz you can see the goodies inside! I did want to do a print and cut for this project but I have not quite mastered that with my zing yet but I am working on it and hope to so some print and cut soon!

HAPPY EASTER!
I will be taking a break over Easter from papercrafting so catch you all after Easter!

EASTER BUNNY LIVES HERE - PROBABLY!

After I made the mushroom house from SVGCUTS.com's 'Cottontail Village Kit' I really wanted to make the Egg House so that was my plan last night - to get that made!
It went together surprisingly quickly! Was also my first attempt at making some ribbon roses!

At the moment (actually since I did the teapot and cup) I love the paper from K & Comapny called 'Watercolour Bouquet'. I bought the very last of it from a local scrapbook shop when I did the teapot and cup and I have been trying to get some and finally I managed to!

I knew I was going to use this paper for the Egg House and I am very pleased with how it turned out!  The other eggshell colour paper is from Kaiser called 'Eggshell'.

I think the Easter Bunny lives here - probably, maybe????
I know I would if I were the Easter Bunny!

GLASS ETCHING - FIRST ETCH! SOO EXCITING!!!

I have been seeing some great stuff done with glass etching cream and Make the Cut and I had to have a go! So I bought some glass etching cream from a company here in Australia http://www.etchglassaustralia.com.au/ and had a go today.  So easy, so fun and probably going to be so addictive for me!
Here is my first effort and whilst it is near impossible to photograph etched stuff you can see here how it turned out! Perfect!
This was just a design I am playing around with for a friend and I did it on some picture frame glass.

Gonna love this new addiction!

BUTTERFLY FAVOUR BOX

The new kit out for SVGCUTS.com this week is 'High Skies' - it's a whimsical type kit with a great hot air balloon (which is next on my list) but one thing that caught my eye was this butterfly favour box and I had to give it a go.  I heard Mary say on the assembly tutorial how good it may look all all white for a wedding and I was keen to give that a go.  I am really happy with how it turned out and it was sooo quick and easy to put together!

Butterfly themed wedding anyone?

EASTER BASKETS!

I had one more Easter Project that I wanted to get done before Easter and I just love the Tulip Basket from SVGCUTS.com 'Egg Hunt' kit.

 http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11&products_id=345

I made 11 of these baskets and I know I need to make one more to make the even dozen -11 feels odd, right?

HAPPY EASTER!

OMG! LADYBIRDS LIVE THERE!

SVGCUTS.com put out a new kit a week or so ago called Cottontail Village  http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11&products_id=346and  and this kit has THE cutest little Easter house gift boxes in it and one of them is this gorgeous little mushroom house and it had to be the first thing I made out of this kit. Not sure if the guys over in the USA call these little insects Ladybirds but I know we do and I couldnt think of a nicer home for them - could you?

PRAMS

I made these two prams for a friend that saw the one that I made for baby Taleah.  She wanted a pink one and blue one to keep in her 'gift wrap stash' for when the next baby comes along. I had so much fun making the one for baby Taleah that I could not resist making another two. The pram is from SVGCUTS.com 'A Bundle of Joy' kit and can be purchased here http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10&products_id=262

They look so cute - dont they?

EASTER PROJECTS

Made this cute little guy for Melissa and her class mates for Easter this year. Pattern came from Creations by AR http://www.creationsbyar.com/ and was easy to put together 22 of them.

Then came 47 of these little boxes that came from A Little Hut http://alittlehut.com/ which is another great place to buy files from.  These cute little boxes are for the Grade Ones at Melissa's school - soo cute!
