CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - C4C504 - DOUBLE SLIDER TIGER SUPRISE!

Hello everyone!

Thanks for stopping by!

This week over with the team at Crazy 4 Challenges the theme is:

28th September - C4C504: Apparently today is Drink Beer Day … so for our challenge today include some form of drink on your card, Beer, Wine, Martinis Margaritas, Lemonade, Tea or Coffee it's all up to you.

Initially, I told Frances I could not participate in the challenge this week as the last couple of days I have been caught up making a baby album for a friend but I decided I would participate in the end because of the theme this week and it is Grand Final Day here in Melbourne and my husband's football team the Richmond Tigers are playing in the Grand Final today - it is sooo exciting and I hope they win!

The card I am using today for the challenge is a card I have previously made and featured here on my blog but in the spirit of the game today and the fact that my hubby Ian enjoys a beer whilst watching the Tigers play I figured it would be ok!

Here is the card

and for a more featured post about this card and more pics you can read the original post from when I made the card in September 2018 http://traceyfarr.blogspot.com/2018/09/double-slider-surprise-card-football.html

Thanks for stopping by and Go the Mighty Tigers - I hope they win the Grand Final 2019!
Until next time - it's bye for now!

CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - C4C503 - SKETCH WEEK

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by!

This week over with the team at Crazy 4 Challenges it is the third Saturday of the month so that means it's Sketch week.

This week's sketch is this:

21st September - C4C503: Sketch Challenge

No photo description available.

Here is my card for the sketch challenge this week using ready made flowers from Kaisercraft and I leaf die I have in my stash (not sure where it's from). The sentiment is from a set available from Uniquely Creative.

I enjoyed this week's sketch challenge and my card came together really quickly which is always a good thing.

Thanks again for stopping by and until next time - it's bye for now!

CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - C4C502 - CARD WITH DOTS

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by!

This week over with the team at Crazy 4 Challenges  the theme is:

14th September - C4C502: Tomorrow 15th September is International Dot Day, for our challenge this week let's include dots on our page … dotted papers, white gel pen dots on images, large dots, small dots, whatever your heart desires.

This was a relatively easy card for me to do as I already had an idea in mind.
I used a 'hello' word stamp from Kaisercraft and some paper with dots on it and using the 'eclipse' method to make my card.

I love this way this turned out - here are some pics

Thanks for looking and until next time - it's bye for now!

CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - C4C501 - COLOUR BLOCK CARD

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by!

This week over with the team at Crazy 4 Challenges the theme is:

7th September - C4C501: This week it’s all about Color Blocking …. Incorporate this technique onto your card using cardstock. Color Blocking Techniques.

Have to admit, I did not know what Colour Blocking was but it is indeed a very simple technique and for my card today I used rainbow colours to make a bright and colourful rainbow birthday card!

The die sentiment I used is from Kaisercraft - it's a huge trap having a Kaisercraft store 5 minutes from home!

I am very pleased with how this card came out!

Here is a pic -

Thanks for looking! Have a great week and until next time - bye for now!

CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - C4C500 - SHAPED CARD

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you are having a good week?

This week over with the Crazy 4 Challenges team the theme is:

31st August - C4C500: Shape Up - Shaped cards are so much fun and with dies these days can be so easy to create … so for our challenge this week create a shaped card.

I decided for this week's card that I would do a throwback to a card I made in 2013 - six years ago!
This card fit so well with the theme and I found myself running short on time to get a card made for this week's challenge.

This card was made using a SVG cutting file from a SVGCuts kit 'Summer Holiday'. And I cut the file using my KNK Zing cutting machine.  I dont use my Zing much anymore and prefer to use my Silhouette Cameo these days.

This card would be perfect for Father's Day which is tomorrow (Sep 1) in Australia but back when I made this card I did a female version and I think it lends itself to being suitable for a male or female.

The paper I used I could not even tell you where it was from but I remember that it had been in my stash for quite some time before I used some of it to make this card.

Here is a pic of the card

Thanks for looking! Have a great day and until next time - it's bye for now!

CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES - C4C499 - CUT UP STAMPING

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by today!

This week over with the team at Crazy 4 Challenges the theme is:

24th August - C4C499: Cut Up Stamping - This isn't a new technique and I  (Frances) have done it many times in the past in various ways. However Jennifer McGuire shared this fun technique a few months ago, so I (Frances) thought it would be fun to revisit this technique. So for our challenge this week create a card for our challenge today using this technique. https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2019/02/cut-up-stamping-giveaway.html

I left my run very late this week to get my card done - I just got busy with work and then I forgot. But, I did get a card done very late today and I am just now posting it.  I am sorry I am so late this week but you know how it is, life, it gets in the way sometimes.

I decided to use Concord and 9th's crafty turnabout stamp and die set for this technique today.   I, myself, have never really done a cut up stamping technique and I cant say that I did a great job but I am happy with how my card turned out in the end.  I used new to me Catherine Pooler inkpads in Lime Rickety, Aquatini, Something Borrowed and Flirty Fuschia.  They really are lovely inkpads and I will need to get more!

I focused mainly on the Aquatini colour.  And I just love those little scissors - I mean, how cute are they?

Here is my card - thanks for looking!

Until next time - it's bye for now!
